Cinémobile – A Cinematic Tour through the South Caucasus
Project implemented by the Noosfera Foundation

The project Cinémobile Caucasus was an educational program for youth that involved film screenings in different locations in Georgia, Armenia and Azerbaijan. The screenings of carefully pre-selected documentaries and fiction films of the region took place in more than 40 cities of Georgia, Armenia and Azerbaijan. The film screenings were attended by children, teenagers, students and adults and after each screening there were lively discussions and debates with the audience.

Cinémobile Caucasus – has been an approach to peace, reconciliation and mutual understanding, by presenting interesting and entertaining films produced in the region.

Every film screening dealt with important topics like regional identity, democracy, the common history of the region, ecological or environmental issues, women issues, migration, and other topics which are not so often discussed and analyzed in schools, educational institutions or rural communities.
